Vega Informatica believes in the future and invests in research.

For this reason it has created Vega Lab, the Vega Informatica's Research Laboratory in charge of research at all levels, from basic up until the applied research and technology transfer.

Every product and every service marketed by Vega was born from extensive research in the most advanced Information Technology areas.

The choice of structuring the research laboratory as an independent unit highlights the central role that Vega has always given to research activities, with the dual purpose both to offer products and advanced skills, and to increase the ability to propose solutions that are always innovative and effective for our customers.

Vega Informatica is accredited as a research center QuESTIO, the information system of the Lombardy Region for the Recognition of Advanced Research and Technology Transfer (CRTT). It collaborates with several universities through focused programs and projects, and by accepting in its laboratories interns as well as undergraduate students for laboratory thesis projects.

A dedicated staff of engineers, technicians and designers are involved in the realization of prototypes and product testing.

This working group has as main objective which is the creation of new knowledge which is itself a company asset of primary importance for Vega.

Above all, the aim is to support the creation of a "knowledge network" among people, in order to increase the chances of generating new ideas, new products and new talents.
